Welcome to the world of TreasuresXI. These rules exist to maintain a fair, stable, and enjoyable environment for everyone. By playing on the server, you agree to follow all guidelines listed below.

Player Conduct

Respect other players at all times. Toxic or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Prohibited Conduct

• Offensive, hateful, or discriminatory language.
• Harassment directed at individuals or groups.
• Threats, personal attacks, or intentionally hostile behavior.
• Creating groups or organized efforts designed to target or harass players.
• Excessive spam in chat, tells, or other communication channels.
• Attempts to create unrest, drama, or disruption within the community.

Staff reserve the right to determine what constitutes unacceptable behavior.

Gameplay Disruption

Players may not intentionally interfere with another player’s ability to enjoy or progress through the game.

Examples of Disruptive Actions

• Monster Player Killing (MPK) or intentionally training monsters onto others.
• Holding Notorious Monsters without legitimate intent to defeat them.
• Blocking NPCs, entrances, exits, or pathways with characters or groups.
• Interfering with quests, missions, events, or gameplay progression.
• Repeatedly examining or targeting players to annoy or disrupt them.
• Flooding logs or chat systems to interrupt gameplay.
• Sending unwanted items repeatedly through the delivery system.
• Any action judged by staff to intentionally ruin gameplay for others.

Fraud & Deception

Any attempt to scam, deceive, or exploit players for personal gain is prohibited.

This Includes

• False trades or misleading agreements.
• Attempts to steal gil, items, or services through deception.
• Impersonating players, staff members, or public figures.
• Character names intended to imitate real-world individuals or known personalities.

Real Money Trading (RMT)

Buying, selling, trading, or advertising in-game assets for real-world value is strictly forbidden.

Prohibited Transactions

• Gil sales
• Account sales
• Character transfers
• Item or service exchanges involving real currency or outside-game assets

This includes trades involving:

• Cash or digital payment methods
• Cryptocurrency
• Assets from other games or servers

All economic activity may be monitored and logged for investigation purposes. Accounts connected to RMT activity may be permanently removed.

Accounts & Character Usage

Your account is your responsibility.

Account Policies

• Account sharing is not allowed.
• You may not allow others to access or play your characters.
• Any disciplinary action tied to a shared IP or account connection may affect all linked accounts.
• Players are responsible for maintaining account security.

Third-Party Programs & Automation

To preserve server balance and fairness, unauthorized tools are prohibited.

Not Allowed

• Bots, automation scripts, or unattended gameplay.
• Programs that control gameplay without direct player input.
• Tools that modify, automate, or exploit game mechanics.
• Synchronized character control.
• Any software determined to provide an unfair advantage.

Multi-Boxing & Character Limits

TreasuresXI allows limited account usage under the following conditions:

• A maximum of 3 accounts per player.
• Third accounts are subject to gameplay restrictions.
• Maximum 2 characters logged on simultaneously (Dualboxing)
• Excessive creation of multiple characters is prohibited.

Staff may investigate suspicious account behavior at any time.

Privacy & Real-World Topics

TreasuresXI is intended to remain an immersive fantasy environment.

Players Should Avoid

• Sharing personal information.
• Posting photos, addresses, phone numbers, or real-life details.
• Public discussion of private matters or personal disputes.
• Revealing another player’s real-world identity without consent.

Respect the privacy and comfort of others.

Exploits & Abuse

Any attempt to abuse unintended mechanics or compromise server stability is forbidden.

Examples Include

• Exploiting bugs or glitches.
• Circumventing intended game systems.
• Attempting to disrupt server functionality.
• Ignoring direct instructions from Game Masters or administrators.
• Pretending to represent staff or official personnel.

If you discover an exploit, report it immediately rather than using it.

Naming Policy

Character names must remain appropriate.

Names may be changed or removed if they are:

• Offensive
• Misleading
• Impersonating others
• Inappropriate for the server environment

Enforcement & Penalties

Violations of these rules may result in:

• Warnings
• Jailing
• Account deletion
• IP bans for severe cases

Punishments are issued at staff discretion depending on severity and repeat offenses.

Players who intentionally violate server rules should expect disciplinary action. Minor violations may result in temporary jail penalties, while severe abuse, exploitation, cheating, or repeated offenses can lead to permanent account termination and possible IP bans.

Rule enforcement exists to protect the integrity of the server and the experience of legitimate players. Time spent investigating abuse, exploits, and disruptive behavior directly impacts server development, maintenance, balance updates, bug fixes, and future quality-of-life improvements. Fair players should not lose content or progress because others choose to ignore the rules.

During maintenance periods, emergencies, exploit investigations, or technical issues, Game Masters and administrators may issue temporary instructions or restrictions to players. These directives are intended to prevent server instability, item loss, character issues, or other unintended consequences and must be followed immediately.

Failure to comply with staff instructions during these situations may result in penalties. Players who knowingly ignore warnings or directives do so at their own risk.

If you encounter exploits, disruptive behavior, or technical problems, please report them to staff as soon as possible.

Staff Authority

During maintenance, emergencies, or technical issues, staff may issue temporary directives to protect the server and player experience. These instructions must be followed immediately.

Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action.
